Wanting to go outside of the hotel XCaret, we looked into what the town of Playa Del Carmen https://www.playadelcarmen.com/

Currently the flights to cancun are much different then they were many weeks ago.  But looking into flights was on the steps taken to get to Mexico.  Currently there are no flights to Mexico so I can not show this as an example.

After viewing trip advisor, that connected me to the parks that are available for you to explore on your trip.  They are parks that you can go to for free when booking your trip at XCaret.  It is included with your stay and there is so much to do. https://www.hotelxcaret.com/en/all-fun-inclusive/
